I got some exciting news last week!
You’re looking at one of the newest Fitfluential Ambassadors. Woohoo!
I’ve always thought of Fitfluential as sort of the gold standard of blogger ambassadorships, so this is huge honor for me. I would frame that email if it wasn’t so darn lackluster. (I mean, not even an exclamation point for the congrats? ha!)
I’ve had my eye on this ambassador opportunity for a long, long time, but when I first decided I was “ready” to apply, Fitfluential wasn’t accepting new applications. They just started up again last fall, and several months later, the results are finally in! I’m thrilled to be part of the team!
In honor of the news, I thought it was only appropriate to–what else–share a workout.
I’ve noticed that most of my workouts involve some sort of equipment–usually weights, and sometimes the treadmill or stability ball, since those are the things I happen to have at home–but just because I tend to gravitate toward those things for my own workout planning doesn’t mean they’re always necessary.
To prove it, today’s workout is 100% bodyweight only!
I did this last night using option #2 (40 sec. work/20 sec. rest, one round of the circuit), but if 40 seconds seems like a long time to do push-ups and burpees (I mean–it is), you can also go with the 20 sec work/10 sec. rest option and just do the whole circuit twice. (Or 3 times, if you’re looking for a 30 min. workout.)
Option #2 was appealing to me because, well, if you hate burpees, at least you only have to do them once! There’s something kinda depressing about getting to the end of a circuit only to have to START ALL OVER. Am I right??
