Hey guys! I have to keep this short and sweet—I have an appointment with the chiropractor in an hour to hopefully fix my 90-year-old back. All the baby-carrying and hunchback-style breastfeeding has finally caught up to me!
My back’s actually been hurting for weeks (same thing happened after Mason was born), but a few days ago, I started feeling tingling in a certain spot in the middle of my spine (??), and it freaked me out enough to pull the trigger on the chiro appointment. Crossing my fingers for a magical insta-cure!
In the meantime, here are some things I’ve been digging this week…
–Joshua’s newborn photos!
(Can you believe that was shot in our kitchen? Ha!)
We just got access to the gallery and I’m agonizing over picking which ones I want. I’ll post more (including the family/sibling shots) when we get them!
—29 clever drawings that will make you question everything wrong with the world (It took me a long time to figure a few of these out!)
–I’m sure I’m the last to know, but a friend just introduced me to the Starbucks misto.
Apparently, it’s half coffee/half milk—what a revelation! (Aka what I do at home every day…but why does theirs taste so much better??) I got mine with two pumps of cinnamon dolce and two pumps of vanilla, and it tasted like candy.
I also felt like a real, bonafide stay-at-home mom, sitting in the Starbucks drive-through with two kids in the back. We were coming from the library, and I was sweating from chasing Mason through the (creepily quiet) non-fiction stacks, trying to herd him to the door while hauling a 200-pound (maybe slightly less) car seat. So yeah—bonafide SAHM.
Also, have you ever seen a super unflattering picture of a wrist? Now you have.
The longer you look at it, the more it will hurt your head…
–Did you catch the online lululemon warehouse sale???
Full review and GIVEAWAY coming next week!
—Julie’s roundup of favorite workout capris and tights (I’m always on the hunt!)
I never thought I’d say this, but I bought some jeggings at Target last night. Not skinny jeans—JEGGINGS. $8 and perfect for putting around the house and then throwing boots over to run out.
…Like anyone’s analyzing my fashion choices at preschool pick-up anyway.
Speaking of fashion…
—These pants (from the Loft)
I love this trend—how it’s all “I’m totally sloppy, but also somehow put together!”
I’m just not sure whether I could pull these off…and what would I wear for shoes in the winter? Help!
That’s it for today! Have a great weekend!
What’s your go-to Starbucks order?
Thoughts on the pants??
