We got a little spring teaser this week.
It was 45 DEGREES on Wednesday when I left work (translated into February in Wisconsin terms, that’s 80). This kid celebrated with a little reverse shoveling–aka moving snow ONTO the driveway.
Yesterday, something crazy happened: it rained. When you live in the midwest, that’s something you generally don’t see for a solid 6 month stretch. The first shower always sounds weird–like someone you know just started speaking a different language one day.
But we all know a teaser when we see one. 24 hours later, we’re back to the snow and cold we all know and hate (some areas around us are even getting brutal storms).
Anyway, to show the weather what’s up, I’m responding today with a super positive post. Winter be damned! I always love perusing people’s Friday Favs lists, so I thought I’d lighten things up with a list of my own today.
But first! The winners of the Adventure to Fitness contest are:
Check your email, ladies! Hope your kiddos love the program.
Now, onto the list! Here are a few things I’ve been loving this week…
This Paleo coffee cake banana bread (complete with delicious crumbly topping)
The long floral tank top + cardigan + boots + skinny pants combo is my current go-to ensemble.
Like, picture a much less cute version of that, and that’s me 9 days out of 10.
This entryway decor
I’ve never actually had an entryway space that could physically contain something cute like this, but for some reason, I’m still constantly ogling them on Pinterest.
These baby skinny sweatpants
Sadly, the etsy designer seems to no longer be making them, but for you crafty/seamstressy types out there: here’s a business opp for you. I’ll be first in line.
This runner’s closet
This neon color trend has to be the best thing that ever happened to running gear. If you can’t justify the purchase, just remind yourself that you practically glow in the dark with this stuff on. It’s for safety.
And her hair. Can I have her hair too?
Let’s celebrate mediocrity!
I think I struggle with the “collapsing weight” spot.
This super simple workout
I’m not sure if I’m convinced that this burns 100 cals, but I’ve seen this exactly lineup in a few different places online. Either way, it’s a nice no-brainer mini-workout.
I have absolutely nowhere in my house to put something like this, but I think it’s cool in a weird way. But then, my taste in home decor is never that trustworthy.
What’s something you’re loving this week?
