Happy Friday, friends! Once again, I waited until the Very. Bitter. End. of the month to squeeze in my Top Ten post. But I made it!
1) Top Tent Town
The idea is to pack your extended family into one of these and see how long it takes to drive each other totally nuts.
A 1-night reservation should be enough.
Is anyone else reminded of the blanket-fort-city episode of Community?
2) Top Easter Idea
Strawberries dressed up as Easter carrots!
Wait. All this time we’ve been painstakingly trying to disguise vegetables to get kids to eat them, and now we’re hiding perfectly good fruit in veggie costumes??
3) Top Kid Trickery
Let the kid roll the die to determine how many more bites he has to take before he can be excused.
Now he thinks he made the decision, and parents think they’re in control of their kids. Hahaha!
Oh yeah: also, use these. Take that, kids!
4) Top Destination
A hillside in Hokkaido, Japan.
Don’t worry: I did my homework, and it appears to be real.
The Japanese are so proud of it, they even included it in a video game:
5) Top Childhood Mishap
Oh, you left your window open and it rained?
This kid left his bike hanging in a tree, and THE TREE GREW OVER IT.
Actually, according to Pinterest, he hung the bike up, left for war in 1914, and never returned. Not so funny now.
But who hangs bikes in trees, anyway? I didn’t know that was a thing.
6) Top Accessory That Probably Doesn’t Need to Exist
A Canadian company makes custom Mermaid tails that you can actually swim in.
You can also drag your body across the sand in them, just like a real mermaid!
Just watch the sharp shells until your mermaid elbow callouses come in.
This is their “basic tail,” which retails for $120.
I’ll just let you stew on that.
7) Top Way to Risk Your Life (<—sarcasm)
I’m not sure how this kid’s poor mother sleeps at night.
See more of this crazy dude’s stunts here.
8) Top Sentiment
For. Real.
9) Top Parenting Moment
I bow to those parents. Bravo.
10) Top Rich Kid Toy
I always thought the Bernstein Bears living in a tree was kinda weird, but it turns out that IT CAN BE AWESOME.
If you’ve missed previous TTs, here’s a handful of the most recent ones:
Happy weekend!

The strawberries are so cute, although I definitely agree that they are hiding a perfectly good fruit from children!

I don’t camp, but those tents look awesome! Maybe just to play in…then I could go home and sleep in my own bed and take a shower.
The guy that isn’t afraid of heights….yikes. Makes my head spin just looking at those!

I love camping, but it usually involves an air mattress and showers. Luxury camping. :)
I was so sure that guy was Photoshopped, but it seems real…can you imagine??? Wait, no, don’t do it. Even that’s too scary.
I loved these! So fun. Especially the one of the hillside in Japan and the dice trick! My kids in that “how many more bites phase” now, he will love this!!
Hope the dice trick works! I’m not there yet with my son, but he is already pretty dang picky, so I see some die in my future…
oh my gosh the Blanket Fort episode!! Yes!!
