Hey there! How was your weekend?
Just stopping by with a few pics from mine. It was totally relaxing and totally everything I needed.
But first, I have two things to share:
I’ve personally found it so difficult to find decent maternity activewear, and For Two Fitness is awesome at making gear that’s both functional for preggos and cute! I want a tank in every single color.
To enter the contest, all you have to do is post the photo below on your IG account. (You can grab it from my Instagram — and follow me while you’re there! I like you!)
Be sure to use the hashtag #ForTwoFitnessGift and tag @fortwofitness. They’ll choose a winner on Friday!
And speaking of giveaways…
–Don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a Pure Via Summer Fit Kit!
Free stevia and swag, what’s not to like?
Ok, back to the weekend.
Friday afternoon was the hubby’s company picnic, so we got a chance to check out his new work digs.
Not awful, right??
Here’s his “are you seriously taking a picture right now” face.
The picnic was super kid-friendly, although Mase isn’t really the bouncy house type (yet).
What he IS into is cheating in the rubber ducky fishing game.
(He’s also really into anything that allows him to show off his color knowledge. PINK!!! WEWWOW!!!)
Saturday morning was Mom and son time, while Dad headed off to a bachelor party and we waited for Grandma to arrive.
We hung out at the beach (aka a dirty volleyball court near our house)…
And did the whole park thing.
Later in the afternoon, Mase’s weekend entertainment arrived: Grandma!!
AND she brought gifts!
We spent the afternoon just hanging out around the house, and my mom and I watched Labor Day after Mason went to bed. (Great movie btw!)
On Sunday, we all headed to a family friend’s bridal shower.
Mason was shockingly well-behaved, in the way that causes everyone to go “what a good little boy he is!” and me to go “I’m just as surprised as you are!” – while I’m simultaneously eating it up.
Compliments about your kid’s behavior are the best kind to hear, bar none.
We wrapped up the weekend with more hang-out time at home.
Sometimes the simplest weekends are the best ones. :)
