Super Foods + Natural Chocolate = Love

by Kim on February 8, 2013

You guys. Have I got a juicy surprise for you today. (And I don’t typically throw around the word “juicy.”)

Remember when I decided to start Mason on baby DHA drops, to calm my crazy mom fears that he wasn’t getting enough brain food? Well, after doing my usual internet combing for the lowest price possible, I ended up buying the drops from a little online shop called The Natural.

The Natural

I’d never heard of them before (have you?), but I couldn’t argue with the price. Not even Amazon could top them.

Wait, WHAT?

I know. I’m a diehard Amazon devotee myself (that’s where we get about 98% of our Christmas gifts, and I’ve even started buying random things like granola there), so I was pretty surprised. I rarely EVER find something that’s cheaper outside of Amazon. (And by rarely, I mean I honestly can’t think of a single other time.)

Anyway, the drops arrived quickly, Mason turned into a supergenius (<—not technically confirmed), and I was happy. So happy, in fact, that I decided to write the company to tell them how great they are.

Then, when I mentioned that I was planning to tell you guys about them, they were generous enough to offer a special gift to one lucky reader! (Hint: IT’S THIS!!)

But before we get to that, let me tell you a little more about The Natural.

The Natural 2

On their About page, the shop is described as being “nestled in a shady alcove of greenery” and “cozy like a cottage.” When I read that, my brain immediately pictured this:

…but maybe that’s The Hobbit I’m thinking of.

Anyway, if that place does actually exist (it may be a drawing…Google Images is being tight-lipped), that’s exactly where I’d like my natural supplements to come from.

The Natural is a modest company that values an “approachable and personalized” style of customer service. They know that just because something enhances one person’s health doesn’t mean it will do the same for everyone, which is what makes individualized service so important.

I like this quote from their website, which I thought really captured their personality as a company:

The Natural Quote

Ideally, the folks at The Natural would probably prefer to fly everyone to their cottage-like shop and give you all 1-on-1 attention, but given the logistical challenges involved, they were forced to create an online store instead.

Fun Facts about The Natural

–They have a massive variety of products, from vitamins and supplements to health and beauty products to natural foods. You can see a list of categories and top sellers right on their homepage.

–They have an extensive coupons and deals page.

–Everything is all natural (naturally), meaning: no chemicals, no artificial junk, no preservatives, no hidden toxins, nada. (Check out their full quality standards here.)

–They have a rewards program, where you can earn points toward future purchases by buying things, reviewing things, and referring friends.

Neat Stuff For Sale at The Natural

While I was browsing their site, I jotted down a few products that struck me as particularly interesting or unique, including…

These omega 3 chocolate truffles, for those of us who can barely choke down those giant fish oil pills.

Fruition bars, which are described as a marriage of dates, oats, chia seeds, and cashews (in 4 different fruit flavors).

This liquid multivitamin, again, for those of us who can’t handle real pills.

These carrot cake flavored fiber bars, because: carrot cake!!

Cookies and cream Spiru-tein protein powder. I’ve never tried this stuff, but Stuft Mama raves about it, so it must be good. And it’s much cheaper through The Natural than Amazon, even with shipping!

This nutrition shake for kids, which combines up to 5 servings of fruits and veggies into one drink.

Have you ever tried any of these?

And now…it’s giveaway time!
