Hey guys! Happy Saturday. What are you up to today?
My agenda’s looking pretty light so far…
- Make these (subbing in vanilla coconut milk and sunflower seed butter)
- Visit a friend’s new baby (and deliver the meal I made for them, which also happens to be the easiest meal in the history of mankind)
- Go for a run
- Shamelessly waste time on Pinterest (if you’d like to join me in the time-suck, I recommend checking out this, this, and these)
- Read?!?!?!? (I recently bought this book)
- Hang out with this guy:
Ok, I just wanted to show you my latest Picmonkey creation.
(There’s also an Instagram’d version of this…clearly I’m getting a little out of control with these picture manipulation things…)
Anyway, here are some of things I’ve been reading this week! (Minus all the “surviving the holidays!” articles that are loading up my inbox these days…I figured you probably weren’t having any trouble finding those.)
- Autumn figures out why she was the fat kid.
- Dr. Patty recommends forgetting about that whole “work-life balance” thing.
- Heidi talks about finding your own path in life, rather than following society’s lead.
- Amanda learned to ditch numbers and eat more intuitively to actually lose weight.
- Lindsay reminds us why it’s important to take care of our friends.
- Gretchen teaches us to do things for ourselves, not others, as selfish as that sounds. (When we do things for others, we expect appreciation from them. No appreciation = resentment.)
- Gina demystifies some intimidating fitness moves.
Ok, this comic reminded me of one more agenda item for the weekend…I have to clean out my workout clothes drawers. They’re the kind of full where you have to stick your hand in, press down, and hold it there while closing the drawer to keep everything in.
There. If I write it here, maybe it’ll happen.
Have a great weekend!
